Since Wednesday, February 1st it has been a while since I wrote here. Many of you of course understand the price one pays if his auto is out of commission which was too much depended upon by me. Especially how this true when there isn’t much of a back-up plan in maintaining our routine of productivity. Yesterday there was a parade in Manhattan, New York for the pro football team, NY Giants whom won the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots last Sunday, score 21-17. I did not seen a single frame of  news video or a strand of ticket tape of the parade.
Yet millions of New York and New Jersey residents were without doubt thrilled about it. On news radio I listened to one woman who allowed her children to skip their school day for them together to attend the parade. And then it was heard by me how two, trucking men excused themselves from their secular duties on the same, celebrating reason of seeing their favorite NFL team being honored.
There must had been a celebration in California. It was not from a major, sporting event, but an on-going social contest nonetheless. This round was won by gay right activists and their supporters yesterday. The three judge panel, federal appeal court in San Francisco ruled on Tuesday that California state gay marriage ban is unconstitutional. The ruling is allowing homosexuals to marry each other in this state. Supporters of the ban have opportunity to appeal the judges’ decision before the ordered re-establishment of legalized, gay marriage. The appeal may send this issue to the Supreme Court. One of the judges of the panel disagreed with the 2-1 ruling.
Gay right activists acknowledged in news sources the fight for their full, civil rights continues, even after the appeal court victory. It might be seen that the California gay marriage ban attacks the “human dignity” of gay people. There are now, fewer guesses of what are inflicting the dignity of marriage between men and women. Should the two sorts of marriage unions be viewed as an equal, legal arrangement if one of them cannot produce offspring from their sexual relations? True a husband and wife may decide live childless. Basically we know marriage partners form the basis of a family unit extending into new generations. If a gay person is blissful to marry “the love of his life”. Would he be happier if his ancestral grandfather married a man resulting in him not being born decades later? Of course that gay individual would debate, “This is now, not then!’ Yet how could we have a now, today if there was not a then in past times?
How is your typical diet nowadays? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention had determined too many Americans, average 9 in ten adults consumed too much salt-sodium. My awareness African-Americans rate high among these statistics. In addition there is unquestionably more children following their elders’ poor, eating habits, victimizing their bodies before adulthood. The lack of regulation of sodium intake could lead to serious, costly health problems such as stroke and heart disease. My view it is too easy to keep unhealthy diets.
People eat too many high sugar and salt processed foods with other, junk ingredients. Too bad the commercial, marketing systems had been encouraging it. How often had you saw Super Bowl television ads sponsoring fresh vegetables, fruits, purified water and health foods instead of soda, snack chips and beer? Do you remember any if you seen the NFL championship? How noticeable big profits are often linked to bad, human practices. Basically it is up to us as individuals and families to carefully research and maintain health standards including nutrition towards our lasting wellness. May you savor good health by not only what  foods you take into your stomach and intestines. But also may you enjoy true satisfaction in life by what you take into your mind and heart healthy, progressive knowledge which may secure any sort of person in any generation.
