News Journal of January 28, 2012: Another Shooting In Freeport

Unfortunately Freeport, New York joins with Huntington Station, Bay Shore, Brentwood and other areas of Long Island in gun violence. Last night a 30 something aged man was shot and killed near 95 Columbus Avenue off of Broadway Street. This incident occurred Friday evening outside an white apartment building on a residential street lines with homes of families.
Children were watching television with their parents when hearing sounds of gun fire. The inquiring residents soon sighted a man lying on the pavement left by the fleeing gunman. The sense of their security in the suburban neighborhood is certainly disrupted. Nassau County police are investigating, there may be more than one assailant.
